David is constantly keeping up to date with training and new technology and this week he crossed over to a Pelagian DCCCR.  The CCR unit is Diver Controlled and the latest in CCR technology.  It is different from the Inspriation in that you can have any size cylinders without unit modification and the scubber is larger for longer in water time.  On the inspiration the set point is electronically controlled were as on the PELAGIAN the diver manually controls the unit.  David also completed his ADVANCED GAS BLENDERS (Trimix) INSTRUCTOR Course.  Well done David.  With special thanks to Stephen Phillips (TDI/SDI UK) for the crossover and instructor course. 

Dive 24-7 are pleased to announce that Malik and Rik have completed their TDI Entry Level Trimix Course in Tenerife.  The week went very well and although it was an intense course it was also enjoyable.  The weather also contributed as a big factor, sunshine, blue skies and perfect sea conditions are always a plus for any course.  Well done to Malik and Rik ! see you both soon.

The four friends really enjoyed their relaxing diving here in Tenerife.  They saw lots of varied marine life including angel sharks, grouper, octopus and their favourite, the stingrays. Hope to see you all soon!

What an exciting day we had on Thursday as Robson Green (Soldier Soldier, Grafters, Wire in the Blood) was doing a film shoot in Tenerife for a program to be shown on Channel 5 in September.

Dive 24-7 were invited by Andy McLeod to supply our boat, Celtic Wave, equipment, safety divers and boat handlers for the day. Robson was a real nice guy and he had lunch and chatted with us through out the day. It was a great opportunity for us to meet Robson and also to be involved with a professional film crew.

Jools completed his TDI Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures course this week.  Well done Jools and see you next time.

Well done to Stephen and Christine for completing the TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures.  It was a full on week but it was so worth it in the end.  They wanted to improve their UK diving to make it safer and more controlled with run times etc.by doing the course.  WELL DONE!

Allan enjoyed a few relaxing dives with David and myself in Tenerife.  It was extremely hot so cooling off diving was just perfect!

Lots of diving going on this week including the TDI Intro To Tech Course.  As usual Pete has taken lots of photos and gave us lots of laughs! It was great to see you all again.

Three of the best lads we have ever met, Paul, Dave & Jonny from Ireland had a great week completing their TDI Adv. Nitrox & Deco Procedures.  The weather was excellent and the lads enjoyed diving in Tenerife with 24-7. We had a great night out at the end of the course and oh how we laughed! Hurry back lads. 

Dale Patrick experienced a Rebreather Dive while in Tenerife.  He loved the quiet, bubbleless diving.  Oh No I think he is hooked!

Ron & Laura enjoyed diving in Tenerife with Dive 24-7.  They both done 10 dives each while they were here on a well deserved break.

The Irish boys returned and conquered a few more dives in Tenerife.  It was great to have them back for a bit of craic! So when is Part 4?

Dale has returned and he has now completed an SMB Speciality and a DPV Speciality as he is working towards Master Scuba Diver - Well done Dale!  You can complete a few more when you return in August.  See you then.

Robert completed his PADI Open Water Course and also done a few dives in Tenerife as a certified diver. Well done Robert! See you in August for your PADI Advanced Open Water Course. :)

Capt. Bob returned for some more diving in Tenerife and he ordered shinny new regs and a shinny new computer, so diving was really good for him this time!  If you can't spoil yourself and all that.

Trevor enjoyed completing a PADI Deep Diver Speciality.  He is now looking forward to a few deeper dives now that he has the qualifications.

Chris is working towards his Master Scuba Diver and is doing very well in completing the PADI Speciality Courses.
He has just completed a PADI Deep Diver and PADI SMB Diver.  Well Done Chris!

Well done to Matthew for completing a PADI Rescue course.  He done extremely well rescuing me especially when I was a panicked diver! After his course Matthew enjoyed diving Tenerife and seeing all the marine life.  On the last dive he counted 12 Stingrays :)

Congrats & well done to Roger for completing TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures with Dive 24-7.  It was a tough week with lots of drills and kit configuration but he done it and done it well.  Roger really enjoyed the course and will now apply his new knowledge to extending his diving in Ireland. www.vikingsubaqua.com

 

 

Luke and Elliott enjoyed a week on the boat and doing a try dives.  Luke is returning in July to do an Open Water Course.  The boys had plenty to do with helping the girls with their kit!

Becky is going from strength to strength and has just completed a PADI Digital Underwater Photography Course.  See you back in June for lots more pics!

Congratulations to Sam for completing a PADI Open Water Course.  His friend Dale is already a Rescue Diver so he enjoyed some leisurely diving with 24-7.
The guys are coming out in April again to do some more courses and specialities.
